Power stability is directly related to the credibility of the financial system. Recently, GOTTOGPOWER has reached an important cooperation with a bank in Zambia, providing power protection solutions for its back-office data center. GOTTOGPOWER’s modular UPS products were successfully applied in the project and passed the harsh test, providing highly reliable power protection for the core financial system in Africa.
The project adopts 3 sets of GTM30/15 modular UPS systems (each set is configured with 2
×15kVA power modules) to address the challenges of frequent fluctuations in the local power grid, tight space in the server room, and high temperature and high humidity environments. Through on-line double-conversion and modularization technologies, the project helps the bank to complete the deployment of N+X redundancy within the limited space in the server room to meet the needs of the bank’s business growth and to realize the financial-grade power purification and Zero interruption operation.
Even when the air conditioner in the server room suddenly fails, GOTTOGPOWER’s modular UPS equipment can still maintain 100% full load operation with its high-temperature tolerant components and intelligent heat dissipation air ducts, demonstrating military-grade reliability. Its unique protection level is able to solve the problem of high humidity and atmospheric corrosion during the rainy season in Africa. Since the system has been in operation, customers have commented on its high stability, which is
“far superior to local competitors”.
The successful implementation of this project not only verifies the reliability of GOTTOGPOWER products in harsh environments, but also marks an important breakthrough for GOTTOGPOWER in the field of financial infrastructure in Africa, and provides a reusable technology paradigm for the subsequent projects of the East African Banking Union.
