As shown in the preceding figure, the two rows of cabinets face each other, and the aisle is sealed. Air conditioners are installed side by side with the cabinets. Air supply from the front and air return are used to ensure that the cooling air fills the aisle and ensures efficient cooling for each cabinet. The horizontal air supply between the closed cold aisle columns can eliminate the mixing of cold and hot air, improve the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner, and is more efficient and energy-saving than the air supply under the closed channel, reducing operation and maintenance costs, and does not require an elevated floor, and has lower requirements for the height of the floor. Because no elevated floor is required, the installation speed is fast, the bearing requirements on the floor are low, and the expansion is easy, the horizontal air supply mode between closed cold aisles is preferred.

The monitoring system provides comprehensive monitoring of power systems (UPS, power distribution, battery packs, PDU), air conditioning systems (precision air conditioners, general air conditioners, fresh air units), environmental monitoring systems (temperature and humidity, smoke detectors, water leakage, switch quantities, etc.), and security systems (video, access control, infrared, door magnets). It adopts a B/S system architecture, eliminating the need for client installation and supporting simultaneous access by multiple clients. The system supports multiple alarm modes (sound and light alarms, email alarms, SMS alarms, and voice alarms over the phone), which can promptly remind administrators to carry out effective management and ensure the safety and reliability of modular data center.
